Kenexis President and CEO Ed Marszal will be providing a keynote presentation at the 4th China Center for Chemical Process Safety Conference in Qingdao China, Thursday June 2. Mr. Marszal will be presented a lecture entitled “Gas Detector Coverage Calculation Using Gaussian Dispersion Models”. This presentation will focus on the use of scenario coverage for gas detection and its inherent superiority to geographic coverage modeling that was until recently the state of the art for gas detector placement. The discussion will provide a step-by-step explanation of how the technique is implemented, and also allude to how the technique will be expanded in the near future to replace Gaussian dispersion models with computational fluid dynamics. The conference will be held at the Howard Johnson Kangda Plaza Qingdao, across from the China University of Petroleum.
