Process Safety Engineer (Senior)
Kenexis Consulting Corporation, a world leader in engineering and consulting for the implementation and design of process safety equipment – in process plants including oil refining, oil and gas production, and chemicals, has an opening for a senior consulting engineer. The successful candidate should have a strong interest and background in chemical engineering, process engineering, and safety/risk analysis.
- Experience/Education: B.S. in chemical engineering preferred – other educational background will be considered with relevant work experience,
- Prior work (2+ years) experience in refining, oil and gas production, or petrochemicals is essential. Work in these industries must include a significant amount of Process Hazards Analysis (PHA). Experience with Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) is beneficial, but not required.
- The desire to travel to customer sites is mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills – both oral and written – are essential.
- The position can be located at either of our office locations – our primary office in Columbus, OH, or Houston, TX. Alternate locations and telecommuting will be considered for exceptionally skilled and experienced candidates. Kenexis offers competitive salary, benefits, and performance-based compensation.
Process Safety Engineer (Staff)

The successful candidate should have a strong aptitude in chemical engineering, process engineering, and safety/risk analysis.
- Experience/Education: B.S. in chemical engineering is mandatory.
- The desire to travel to customer sites is mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills – both oral and written – are essential.
- This position will be located at our headquarters in Columbus, OH
