There are several reasons why a detector would not show up on a coverage map. First, you must check to ensure that the detector is being considered in the calculations. This is done by ensuring that the “Enabled” check box is checked in the detector list.
If the detector is enabled, yet the detector is still not showing any coverage on a coverage map, then you will need to verify that it is actually providing coverage. The amount of geographic coverage for a gas detector is a function of the design basis cloud size, location of the detector, and elevation of interest. If the detector is located further away from the elevation of interest than 1/2 of the design basis cloud size, then it is not providing any coverage at the elevation of interest, and will not show up on the coverage map or coverage results.
